From March 7 to July 6, 2025, to mark the Jubilee celebrations, the National Galleries of Ancient Art present Caravaggio 2025 at Palazzo Barberini. Curated by Francesca Cappelletti, Maria Cristina Terzaghi, and Thomas Clement Salomon, the exhibition brings together an extraordinary selection of Michelangelo Merisi's autograph works, some rarely seen or never exhibited together. Highlights include Ecce Homo from the Prado, Saint Catherine from the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Martha and Mary Magdalene from Detroit, and The Martyrdom of Saint Ursula, the artist's final masterpiece. A unique opportunity to rediscover Caravaggio's revolutionary legacy in the city that shaped his genius.
